Eucalyptus is wonderfully versatile in that it can cool in the summer & protect in the winter. It is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibiotic, diuretic, analgesic & deodorizing. Furthermore, the variety we use for this soap, Blue gum eucalyptus, is the most well known of the eucalyptus varieties and has the typical fresh, clear, pungent, camphoraceous aroma that we expect eucalyptus to have.
Eucalyptus also has a strong antiseptic effect, opens the respiratory tract & is one of the strongest essential oils to fight viral infections like bronchitis, colds, flu, herpes, blisters, chicken pox, sinus problems and various kinds of throat infection. It has a soothing and calming effect on the whole body & strengthens the immune system.
In conjunction with green superfine clay and chlorophyll this soap is an excellent choice for skin types that are slightly out of balance. I like it best after a long surf. It feels great on a sunburn. This combination used daily will work effectively to bring your skins sebaceous glands back to normal oil producing levels. Perfectly camphoraceous, woody-sweet.
