tomato & lime smoothie natural soap
Citrusy-fresh, invigorating-yet-calming.
This soap is loaded with fresh, ripe tomatoes that are packed with vitamins A, B and C; potassium and magnesium; valuable antioxidants and trace elements including lycopene, which attacks cancer-causing free radicals. Fruit acids in the tomato balances pH levels, tighten pores and gives this soap a gentle peeling action which is effective in aiding a wrinkled, mature complexion. Tomato is also active in neutralizing acidic skin and it is particularly a good remedy for acne.
To give the soap its intense, sparkling-sweet, lemony aroma we chose to combine Cold-pressed Lime, Lemongrass & Lemon Myrtle essential oils. Lemon Myrtle has been found to be antibacterial, and anti-fungal; In fact, some studies show greater results than the better known tea tree. Lime essential oil balances overactive sebaceous glands that lead to oily or blemished skin & helps clear acne. Then we add, French Red Clay as it is a powerful detoxifier. It acts like a magnet to draw out impurities from the body while the essential minerals within the clay are released.
