The Seaweed we use for this soap comes from Bali's' open-oceaned, southern tip; Nusa Dua. The local harvesters of that region plant the quick-regenerating seaweed in the pristine tidal pools of the Indian Ocean. Many nutrients that people need to survive are found in seaweed. Richer than any land plant, seaweed is recognized as a complex source of vital minerals, trace elements, proteins and vitamins. The vitamins & minerals nourish the skin helping to "soften" rough, dry skin and help to remove dead skin cells. As a bonus we add a good pinch of ground Japanese Nori.
Lime essential oil can also exfoliate with a slight peeling action from the fruit acids, enlivening the complexion. Lavender oil tones the skin & is useful for all types of skin problems.
