SPECIFIC TO THIS PRODUCT: From the tea fields of Java we purchase fresh green tea that we use to render our green tea oil. We mill the tea leaves to a fine powder, add the ground green tea leaf to coconut oil, and heat the mixture until it is completely saturated. Then we strain the oil for remaining larger, abrasive particles, resulting in smooth, creamy green tea oil. This rich, green oil we add to the soap mixture at the end of the process as to preserve the tea's benefits. Green tea is an extremely powerful antioxidant due to its high content of polyphenols, a class of bioflavonoid. Anti-oxidants aid in preserving a more youthful appearance by hindering the body's natural oxidation process of aging.

Also featured in this soap is Chlorophyll, the dark green colored substance made from Alfalfa grass. It is the most densely concentrated chlorophyll containing land plant on earth. Chlorophyll being rich in many vitamins and minerals works to nourish tired, exposed skin. Chlorophyll's greatest attribute is its ability to accelerate the formation of granulation tissue that forms the base for new tissue growth; helping us to look younger.

Then we add Honey (also added at the end of the soap-making process, in order to maintain all of the honey's botanical properties) which lays down a clear, protective film that helps skin maintain moisture. It hydrates and soothes the skin and is thought to be slightly antiseptic and bacteriostatic. It is used as a nutrient-rich emollient in soap.

Then, this robust mixture is generously spiked with cold-pressed Lime, French Lavender & Javanese grown Ginger Root essential oils. A soothing blend to please even the most scrupulous connoisseur.
