INTERESTING RANTS & RAVES: Well, thanks to my friend Jonathan (who lives in downtown SanFrancisco with his lovely wife Molly) I have become an avid morning carrot juice drinker. Gorgeous stuff, really feels super-revitalizing and seems to clean your entire system from the inside out. Underneath this rich, dark soil there is also a huge, natural spring water aquifer running all over the island bubbling up out of the ground in many places. These aquifers originate from Bali's sacred volcano, Mt. Agung and fuel, feed and replenish the inhabitants, animals, and plants flowing from the peak of the volcano, down through the myriad of rice terraces eventually to the sea.

SPECIFIC TO THIS PRODUCT: From the markets of Bali's farming regency, we purchase fresh carrots and ginger. We then extract the fresh, bright orange, vitamin-rich carrot juice. We add the juice to the soap mixture at the end of the soapmaking process as to not deplete the juice of its vitamins and minerals. Carrot is suitable for all skin types. It is known for being rich in beta-carotene, a great anti-oxidant (anti-oxidants hinder the body's oxidation process) proving to be excellent for sunburned or damaged skin. Carotene is effective in controlling oil glands, promoting a healthy, clean complexion. It is known to hold in the body's natural moisture and emollient content. It improves complexion, adds tone and elasticity, while softening calloused areas of the body.

Ginger is a sweet, spicy root native to Southeast Asia, it stimulates blood circulation, aiding in the recovery of troubled or ashy looking skin. Also a mild astringent, ginger helps to clean, deep into the skin's pores.
