carrot & wild ginger natural soap
Citrusy-spicy, uplifting & exciting.
Another of my personal favorites, carrot & wild ginger soap is a rich, grassy, refreshingly-grounding combination of lemongrass, ginger & lemon myrtle essential oils. Perfectly-sweet & citrusy, with a gentle ginger root bite. Really shouts Bali!
To make this soap we purchase fresh carrots and ginger from the traditional markets of East Bali's farming regency. We then extract the fresh, vitamin-rich juice. We add these juices to the soap mixture at the end of the soapmaking process as not to deplete the juice of its vitamins & minerals.
Carrot is suitable for all skin types. It is known for being rich in beta-carotene, a great anti-oxidant proving to be especially effective for sunburned or damaged skin. Carotene is also effective in controlling oil glands, thus, promoting a healthy, clean complexion. It adds tone & elasticity, while softening calloused areas of the body. It is also known to hold in the body's natural moisture and emollient content.
We also add annatto seed oil made fresh in our workshop to further increase the amount of beta-carotene to an already perfect healing concoction. You'll love it!
