wild ginger, carrot & vetiver
Normal to sun-damaged skin.
For those who can't get enough of the 115gr soaps we created the 230gr BIG series; yep, that's a half pound bar of soap. One of my personal favorites, Wild Ginger, Carrot & Vetiver soap is a rich, earthy, refreshingly-grounding combo; citrusy & rosy, with a super-gentle root-like bite. Really shouts Bali!
To make this soap we purchase fresh carrots and ginger from the traditional markets of East Bali's farming regency. We then extract the fresh, vitamin-rich juice. We add these juices to the soap mixture at the end of the soapmaking process as not to deplete the juice of its vitamins & minerals.
Carrot is suitable for all skin types. It is known for being rich in beta-carotene, a great anti-oxidant proving to be especially effective for sunburned or damaged skin. Carotene is effective in controlling oil glands, promoting a healthy complexion.
We also add annatto seed oil made fresh in our workshop to further increase the amount of beta-carotene to an already perfect healing concoction. You'll love it!
