Botanical name - pelargoneum roseum - France

Description of plant - Geranium is generally a spreading shrub growing to a height of 3 feet (1m) with pink to red flowers. The entire plant is aromatic. The Geranium plant is native to South Africa, but currently cultivated worldwide.

Nature of the oil - A colorless to pale yellow to pale green liquid. The aroma is intensely sweet and rosy with an unexpected hint of mint. The odour effect is refreshing and uplifting.

Aromatherapeutic uses - Skin care (most skin types) burns, eczema, head lice, ringworm, cellulite, hemorrhoids, poor circulation, menopausal problems, pre-menstrual syndrome, nervous tension, and other stress related disorders.

Blends well with - Bergamot, Grapefruit, lime (and other citrus essences), Lavender, Lemon Myrtle, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Peppermint, Sage, and most other herb essences.

Geranium ----- 1 drop Put one drop of Geranium oil on a cotton swab or cotton ball and apply it directly to the sore, if possible as soon as sore is detected. Repeat a few times daily.
